ORANGE CAKE

ORANGE CAKE RECIPE

Ingredients:

250 gm butter ~ softened
1 cup caster sugar
1 2/3 cup self raising flour
4 large eggs
2 orange ~ take the zest & juice

Method:

1. Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
2. Add egg one at a time, and beat till well incorporated.
3. Add orange zest and mix well.
4. Fold in 1/3 of flour and mix well.
5. Add 1/2 of the juice and mix again.
6. Repeat step 4 & 5 till finish.
7. Pour batter into a greased tin, lined with baking paper.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 175C for 45 minutes or until cake tester inserted comes out clean
